Education Fund Investors: The Special European Summit on Greece does not Interest Us

Munich, 21 July 2011 – Debt drama in the U.S. and Europe, the worsening crisis in Greece: this does not have any impact on investors in asset class education. Even in 2011, the results of CareerConcept AG educational funds remain unaffected by the negative developments on capital markets.

"We have experienced the worst crisis of the postwar period in the last two and one-half years with respect to working hours, a shrinking economy and turmoil in the commodities and monetary system," said Rolf C. Zipf, Executive Board member of the education fund pioneer. Now, however, gold and silver are partially sold out and real estate is significantly overvalued because independent monetary investments are being sought as never before.

"With asset class education, investors participate in the salaries of academics without being bound to a currency," said the education fund manager. In addition, the salaries increase with inflation - so an investment in education holds its value in a similar way to an investment in property.

CareerConcept points out that the unemployment for education fund graduates is virtually nil and defaults still do not play a role – a sign that the upstream application process is working. Collected repayments have also risen sharply in the company to more than six million Euros. CareerConcept therefore expects that it will be able to pay back investors in the double digit range in the current fiscal year.

The special European summit on Greece illustrates that investors will probably have to reckon with the unthinkable in future. "In this situation, we have been offering a proven, high-value, and inflation-protected investment concept uncorrelated with broad diversification and robust return flows for almost a decade," said Rolf C. Zipf.

CareerConcept (www.career-concept.de) is the "pioneer" of privately financed education funds (www.bildungsfonds.de) - also known as study funds - in Germany. For this purpose, companies, foundations and private investors invest capital which funds the studies of selected students. After a successful career start, the funding recipients pay back a portion of their income to the education fund to ensure studies for subsequent generations.
