The first company-owned education funds worldwide
Festo, a family business is the first corporation to become involved in student financing. Together with the CareerConcept AG in Munich, the Esslinger company began the first company-owned education funds in Germany. Festo invested 5 million Euros in the promotion of talented young engineers.
The "Festo Educational Fund" funds the cost of living and tuition fees for students and postgraduates from engineering and technology with up to 40,000 Euros and thus supports a targeted study and a short study period. The subsequent recovery purely depends on earnings and is limited to a maximum amount and so it is more flexible than a student loan. The specificity of the Festo Educational Fund, is, in addition to provision of financial resources, particularly for the career-oriented qualification of students and doctoral candidates. The undergraduate and graduate students here benefit from an exclusive network of technically oriented companies and committed professors.
