Education Fund Demand Exceeds 80 Million Euros

Munich, Feb 02, 2010 - In the last two fiscal years,  thousands of students have applied to Career Concept AG for education funds  - alone in 2009, this was approximately one third more than last year. The total sum in demand in 2008 and 2009 was around 83 million euros, as announced by the  Munich Study Pioneer today.

"By no means can all students successfully pass through the demanding application and selection process," said Rolf C. Zipf, CEO of Career Concept AG. "For education fund funding, it depends greatly on whether the study intentions as a whole are internally consistent. These include not only good grades, but also mainly personality-oriented aspects and a clear career perspective. "

Furthermore,  education fund funding for the students is risk free, since repayment depends purely on subsequent income: there is no minimum repayment, no fixed interest rate, no risk of over-indebtedness. Thus, the selection process plays a central role in this model in order to be a profitable investment for investors and foundations.

According to CareerConcept the future potential of the asset class education is underpinnned especially by the continuous growth in candidates. Due to limited capital resources, the entrire demand will not be served. "Our constraining factor is not the number of suitable applications from very talented, motivated and committed students, but rather the capital," said Zipf. "Therefore,  in the future, even more investor funds will flow into this attractive asset class education than before."

Career Concept (www.career-concept.de) is the "inventor" of privately financed education funds (www.bildungsfonds.de) - also known as study funds - in Germany. Companies, foundations and individual investors  provide capital to fund their studies of the selected students. After the completion of studies and entering the work force, the funding recipients repay a portion of their income back into the education fund for the studies of the subsequent generation.  Unlike a student loan, there is no repayment obligation in cases of unemployment. CareerConcept works with several universities and colleges, supports thousands of students and is backed by premier investors who are committed to financial and economic return as well as academic education in Germany.
