Asset class education makes low-risk investment possible to over 300 universities in over 20 countries

Munich, Feb 23, 2010 - Education funds and the currently popular real estate funds have two important similarities: low volatility and broad risk diversification.  Because both types of funds build many small-scale cash flows, their results regarding the overall portfolio are accordingly low - this reduces the risk for the investor.
Real estate investors are currently pouncing on real estate funds. One of the reasons: a single apartment only slightly influences overall success. This spreads the risk and the volatility is reduced.
The same goes for asset class education: so that the careers of thousands of academics can be financed with a single education fund, the repayment risk is accordingly spread quite broadly and the repayments take place with low volatility. This makes an investment in asset class education reliable and predictable.
"At this time, we are financing carefully selected students in over 300 universities in 20 countries with our education funds," says Rolf C. Zipf, CareerConcept AG executive. "The average funding sum per student is currently about 15,000 Euros. So it is not surprising that the entire portfolio produces medium-term and long-term cash flows."
According to the education fund manager, there is currently a very high demand for MBA funding. Furthermore, the demand for education financing is increasing worldwide. "Therefore, for strategic reasons, we are still primarily focusing on the German-speaking countries. Thus, asset class offers even more potential than we are using today," says Zipf.

Career Concept (www.career-concept.de) is the "inventor" of privately financed education funds (www.bildungsfonds.de) - also known as study funds - in Germany. Companies, foundations and individual investors  provide capital to fund their studies of the selected students. After the completion of studies and entering the work force, the funding recipients repay a portion of their income back into the education fund for the studies of the subsequent generation.  Unlike a student loan, there is no repayment obligation in cases of unemployment. CareerConcept works with several universities and colleges, supports thousands of students and is backed by premier investors who are committed to financial and economic return as well as academic education in Germany.
